I was assigned to create an ice cream based around best friends. Well...my best friends love cannabis. When we get together we chill out and discuss our problematic favs. Through all the chaos and controversy that Miley Cyrus has made over the years, my friends and I always have a hot take on her.

I chose to use a refined color palette and if you look at only one pint, I used only monochromatic color. I wanted a clean and straight forward design. This piece directly communicates exactly what it is. I have marijuana icons on either side of the logo, so the consumer knows automatically this has cannabis in it.

My type choices, I chose a 60’s inspired font for the flavor of the ice cream, it has a bounciness that went along with the fun and high quality of the brand. On the lids of the ice cream, I chose to liquify and manipulate the type, so that it has a wavy and trippy look to it. I continue this into the design I made for the cone wrapper.
